Pravcicka gate

The Pravcicka brána (German: Prebischtor) is a narrow rock formation located in the National park Bohemian Switzerland (Czech Switzerland). With a span of 26 metres, an inside height of 16 metres, 8 metre maximum width, it is the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe.  In 1881 Prince Edmund of Clary-Aldringen built the Hotel  and restaurant "Sokoli hnizdo" (English: Falcon's nest) there with 50 beds. There are 2 possibilities, how to get there. The first one is walking tour from village Hrensko (3km by red tourist colour trail), the second one is walking tour from Mezni Louka (6km by red tourist colout trail). Opening hour 10am-6pm (summer), 10am-4pm(winter). Actual information: www.pbrana.cz
